For the most part, ISU is not known too much for a crazy nightlife. It is a dry campus, and it is taken seriously. Many
of the bars are small and do not accommodate a lot of big groups. But there are definitely places for drinkers to go. Many of the parties are not found at clubs but in personal homes. The Greek life fraternities throw quite a few parties with alcohol for their members and guests. The Green T Grill and Bar is known in neighboring towns for its drinks and events as well.
For those who are not so much into the whole drinking thing or are underage, clubs and organizations are always
hosting events at ISU. The Latter-Day Saint Student Association organizes events like Reed Gym Night, where
everybody enjoys a night at Reed Gym with huge blow-up toys and wall climbing. LDSSA also throws dances every other weekend for students to come and get their groove on. The Bengal Café is also a frequent entertainment spot with music groups, food, and drinks. It is definitely a nice, mellow environment for students to chill. Nightlife in Pocatello is pretty much whatever you want it to be, whether it includes alcohol or not!

The parties are many, but they do not necessarily have to have liquor for them to be considered to be parties. To find any bar, just go down Center and Clark streets. |

The parties are hit-or-miss. It seems like everyone wants to throw parties at the same time—which is really fun, hoppin’ between them all. The bars, at least the ones frequented by students, are all located well within stumbling distance of most student residences. Hooligan’s, the Office, Center Street, the Pressbox, Goody’s, and Charley’s are the main student watering holes. |

I hear the parties are quite hoppin’! I really don’t know too much about bars and clubs, but remember—you do the booze, you lose! |

There are no clubs in Pocatello—quite lame. We are home to several small town bars—nothing spectacular. The best parties on campus are thrown by the Greeks. |

On-campus parties are not too exciting. Most parties are thrown off campus at the bars or at students’ homes. The most popular bar in town is the Green T, which frequently throws ISU parties for University events. |
