College Prowler Take
Weather is a funny thing in Pocatello, Idaho. There are basically two seasons: really, really hot summers and really,
really bitter winters. There is a two week period twice a year between these extremes that could be considered
some sort of fall or spring. The wind is also familiar to Pocatello residents and anyone in Idaho.
The nice thing about the weather is that it complements the popular recreational activities in the area. Skiers and snowboarders are usually greeted with drifts and more drifts of snow. The boaters and water skiers are sure to have an active summer in the sun with the American Falls reservoir just 20 minutes away. So make sure to bring a coat and a swimming suit on your trip to ISU.

This is typical Idaho weather which means that you have to be prepared for anything at anytime, from hot weather in the winter to snow in June. Definitely have a warm coat for the winter because it gets cold—real cold. |
