Greeks tend to be fairly involved on campus because of the close knit nature of IIT. Most of the time, non-Greeks don't view Greeks any differently because if you're at IIT, you're most likely there because you're passionate about what you want to do.

Greek life rarely holds large parties but prefers mixers for themselves and another Frat or Sorority. I am not saying that there are the stereotypical frat guys and sororitutes as Greek life is kind of unnoticeable, but those who are Greek are usually hanging out with their own friends.

Not Your Traditional Frats... in a Bad Way. The Greeks live in their own housing on campus which is the same as the rest of the affordable housing, only with nice living rooms. Getting in is not extremely difficult either. The members do not seem to develop superiority complexes from joining, usually anyway. They are not very loud or exciting Greeks. Rarely do they hold parties and those parties are usually ice cream social events. They do not hold much importance on campus.

as a member of the greek community, i say its pretty decent. it really is one of the few opportunities to have a good social life on campus, good parties! nothing otherwise like typical greek life at state schools as the people are really nice, smart, outgoing/involved, and chill, though you do have a few of the typical bros.

Great Greeks – While Im not a part of any Greek life, I know that all the different Frats and Sororities are very active in community service and different projects.
