There are so many different types of off-campus housing: from the big to the small, the old to the new, the expensive to the cheap, everyone can be satisfied.

I LOVE the education program here at ISU. Many schools hire students specifically because they are ISU alum.

Love my school. The professors are welcoming and majority of them are very understanding about any situations.

ISU prides itself on diversity and acceptance.

Bars are far from campus, with the exception of the casual bar scene just off campus.

Computers are everywhere on campus, but that makes up for the sometimes shaky internet service.

Athletics is important at ISU, but not greatly appreciated.

There a bunch of ways to get home from school. There's a facebook group to find rides, the Amtrak, and a number of bus services.

It is all pizza. There are no other late night options other than calzones and pizza.

There is everything you need to survive as a college student nearby, but it is not a typical college town.

Instead of parking police officers at dorm buildings to "catch" students coming home for the night, they should be out looking to help others or I suppose out to take care of other occurring trouble.

I changed majors after freshman year because I was not satisfied with the coursework in my original program (Business Teacher Education). I enjoy my currently field of study and feel more welcomed by my peers and educators. There is no abnormal admission process to this program, you simply must have taken Spanish Grammar.

It is very easy to be a part of the drug scene on campus, but also very easy to choose not to be. The University does a good job of hosting non-drug related events as well as providing punishment for any illegal activities.

There are a lot of stereotypical Greeks on campus, but for the most part, it is alright.

I love living at Watterson, but I wish the guests could check themselves out.

The financial aid process was fairly simple and I got what I needed with very little hassle.

Anywhere you go, you can get a good teacher or a bad teacher depending on what teaching style fits you better. For the most part, teachers here are good and enjoy what they do, and make an effort to get to know their students.

I am not involved with the Greek life and do not know many people who are. What I do know, is that their is a wide range of Greek housing ranging from academic, race based, and the usual Greek life.

Their is always something to do either with your floor, school event, sports teams and much more. All the activities are very close to the residence halls making the activities easy to get to.

The campus food is ok, with home always being better. Once in a while they have good specials where the quality of the food and preparation is better. Their are also many late night options where you can use your flex, the most being Subway and the vending machines, but as well as Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Einstein Bagels.

Health & Safety:
Any where you go, their will be the occasional crime with somebody doing something stupid. In general, the campus is well lit at night and their are many security options such as programs that have people walk you home anytime of the day. For the vast majority of the time, the campus is extremely safe.
College Sophomore 2013-11-30T18:45:52Z
Depending on who you lease from and what you are looking for will determine how close you are to campus, the price, ext. Their a lot of options to choose from and its not very hard to find a place to live.

I feel that the people who enforce the policies know that people are doing things such as underage drinking but if they do not do it in the dorms or make a big show about it, then they let things go.
College Sophomore 2013-11-25T01:30:34Z
People in the Greek life are very committed, but if you are not a part of a frat or sorority, you are just fine. People at ISU are very accepting and there are so many other options you can do to be apart of the school or a club.
College Sophomore 2013-11-25T01:28:59Z
The diversity is very good, there are so many different people and so many people are accepting.
