College Prowler Take
Flashing images of the “Freshman 15” have gone through almost every ISU student’s head. However, many do not have to worry about it because ISU provides a variety of food options for students to choose from. For the figure-
watching type, there are plenty of places to create your own salad or sandwich or enjoy a nice bowl of soup. For the students who enjoy hamburgers, fries, and Mexican food, they can find these options just about anywhere. ISU is also continuing to bring in popular restaurants to the Bone Student Center. one of the perks of buying a meal
plan is that students do not have to pay full price for their meal. otherwise, students who do not have a plan meal can end up spending almost $10 for an average lunch.
Few will admit that they enjoy on-campus dining, but for ISU students, many do not complain about it either. ISU has made sure to offer a variety of food choices to its students.
Students are able to taste food from different cultures while staying loyal to the true american cheeseburger.
The portions that are given to students are also very reasonable, and many are satisfied after each meal. While
the variety of the food may be great, it is not always healthy. ISU could work on offering more health-conscious
foods instead of just relying on salads and soups.

The food here is not that bad. Pizza Hut and McAlister’s are the most popular. I can honestly say that I do not mind eating the dorm food here. |

The food on campus is really good. McAlister’s Deli is always a great place to go, and even the dining food isn’t that bad. You don’t hear too many students here complaining about not eating some decent food. |

Watterson has the most selection, but it gets very crowded fast. The Bone Student Center is probably the most convenient place overall. You can get almost anything to eat there. |
