College Prowler Take

Technology is abundant on ISU’s campus. one of the pleasures of being an ISU student is the accessibility of the lab in Milner library. There are always computers open for students, and the staff is always willing to assist if a problem occurs. Students can constantly be found surfing the Web and checking their e-mail on a daily basis. There is also a good quantity of labs for students to use in a majority of other buildings. ISU’s TechZone is also very gracious in helping students with personal computer problems for a small fee or even free of charge. TechZone also supplies students with certain free software that will help them connect to ISU’s Internet and keep their computer virus-free. It is evident that ISU takes pride in its technology and goes the extra step to make sure students are up-to-date on the recent developments. The computer labs provide an unlimited amount of resources for students. This can be related to much of their academic success. Throughout the year, the labs remain frequently in use; but it is during testing periods that they begin to fill up faster, and students may not have anywhere to go. now that all incoming freshmen need to provide their own PC, ISU will only become more centered on computers.
