College Prowler Take
One of the newest areas that ISU is taking pride in is the renovated athletic weight room. This new weight room is the largest in the Missouri valley Conference and has become a focal point for ISU’s recruiting efforts. The Bone Student Center is also a popular area where students can
see concerts, enjoy food, study, or just hang out. ISU’s Barnes & Noble bookstore is also located there, and it is just one of the many places students can purchase books and buy ISU apparel.
One of the drawbacks of ISU’s facilities is the age of many buildings, though some are undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, one of the first sights that an incoming
visitor will see is ISU’s football stadium. Sadly, it is not worth looking at; although the stadium did receive a new football field recently, many are still embarrassed to say
it is part of ISU. The newly built College of Business is the most attractive building surrounding the Quad, and it is a great addition to ISU. another nice touch that the
University added is a tunnel that goes under College avenue and Main Street, allowing students access all parts of campus without crossing the busy intersection.
