College Prowler Take
ISU definitely has an abundance of hot guys and girls. Many students can be found attending class just to see certain attractive people. Since many ISU students party hard on the weekend, their sexual promiscuity comes along for the ride as well. ISU students take advantage of the free condoms that the G-Spot gives out on the Quad, but while many students may be practicing safe sex, there still are students who are remaining abstinent. With the unpredictable weather, students can be seen wearing revealing tank tops one day and then bundling up with winter layers the next. However, students do take advantage of the nice weather to show off their bodies, taking no shame in flaunting their beach bodies around the Quad. You can always find students sunbathing or playing shirtless football on the Quad in the spring.
At such a large university, there is bound to be a wealth of hot guys and girls. ISU is known for having a hot student body, and many students are proud of that. In order to see these hotties at their prime, many go out frequently to make sure they do not miss a beat. Guys look like everything from an Abercrombie model to an NBA basketball player, while girls can be that innocent girl-nextdoor type to a look-alike in a Guess ad. FactsBirth Control Available?
Yes - Student Health Services provides students with various types of birth control, including different pills, patches, and shots. In order to obtain these birth control methods, students need to make an appointment with one of ISU's doctors on campus. Students are also able to purchase condoms at the Student Health Pharmacy, the Health Stop Resource Center, and the G-Spot, which is a tent located on the Quad during certain days of the week.
Social Scene
ISU's social scene is one of the perks of attending the University. No matter what social group you are a part of, there is always something to do. It is also a perk to be a guy because of the abundance of girls at ISU. It is no secret what the majority of ISU students like to do on the weekend, and that is party. Even though ISU is not nationally ranked as a party school, students here know how to have a good time. During the day, the Quad is the place to be. Students can be found lounging around on the grass, playing football or Frisbee, or even playing bags. You will not find many students locked up in their dorm rooms or apartments when the sun is shining.
Hookups or Relationships?
While many may be in relationships, there is also a large pool of random hookups that occur on campus. Commitment-free hookups are easy to find if that is what you’re looking for. Many of these hookups are alcohol-induced and may continue for a time as commitment-free. It is widely known that if incoming freshmen are already in a relationship coming into ISU, that relationship will end before Thanksgiving break.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
Weekends are what students at ISU live for. The bar scene is generally great for meeting guys or girls. With cheap drinks flowing all around, girls are almost certain to have guys buy them drinks at the bars. For underage students, fraternities and random house parties are swarming with the opposite sex. It is not hard to meet hot people at ISU because they seem to be all over campus during the weekends. When you’re not out on the town searching for your hottie, you can be almost certain to find someone that will catch your eye on the Quad. During the spring and the early part of fall, the Quad is full of girls in bikinis and shirtless guys. Many apartment complexes also have pools, and this is a hot spot to show off your body and see some good eye candy.
Dress Code
Hoodies and sweatpants are generally what is seen on the Quad on the way to class. Many students do not take the time to dress up for class. At times, you may see an overzealous student trying to make an impression at class, and they generally will be wearing brands like Forever 21 or Abercrombie & Fitch. It is also common during the first few weeks of school to see freshman girls looking as if they are ready to go out on the town. However, after a few concerned looks, the going-out attire gets put back in the closet and hoodies make their welcomed appearance.
