Class Size

Illinois Valley Community college is a very good school to go to. Here, you are a person with a name and not a number like at a bigger school. Since the class size average is less than 30 students you can be on a one on one basic with your professors. This is nice when discussing grades and such.

Additional Support

IVCC is a small campus so there resources are there, but they are limited. The library is not that great in size. The gyms are good sized, but the workout room is not. The writing center is the best resource if you want help for homework and need a computer, but sometimes they are all taken up. The building does not have the best of wifi in certain areas of the building, but the chemistry lab is brand new and very nice.

Good Beginning After High School

Overall I am satisfied with my experiences at IVCC. Aside from one exception, i had great counslers who helped put me in the right classes. Ive always had great teachers who are willing to help and provide guidance. The campus is small and friendly as well and almost anyone is willing to help you out if needed.
