I've seen the buildings from the outside and a flyer but not been in one. I have no idea how they determine who gets housing and I don't know anything about the rules or social atmosphere there.

For a relatively small campus, the availability of computers is wonderful! Lots of locations and lots of computers!

I did not utilize the internship program b/c I was an education student. I recently transferred to the General Studies program; tons of internship opportunities there.

I love the program I'm in now. I switched to General Studies after spending too many years in the education program. The education program seems to be extremely disorganized, under-staffed and many students who think they know where they are in the program find out they are classes short near the end of their college career.

I have not been awarded a scholarship but the university seems to have plenty of them.

Again, as a non traditional student who works full time and commutes to classes, I have no clue about the parties, bar scene, etc. Not only that, those kinds of activities are not in my list of fun things to do.

I rarely have time to hang out any place on campus except the library or the education building.
College Junior 2013-11-25T17:39:25Z
The area has pretty moderate weather with all four seasons distinctly represented. The campus is located in a way that it can be affected by lake effect snow from Lake Michigan. The campus rarely cancels classes due to weather.

Honestly, as a non-traditional, adult student who works full-time and rents a home, I couldn't say how the off-campus housing is and how helpful the university is in locating homes.

For a small town campus, essentially, I believe it is a very diverse college campus. We have international students from Asia as well as the Middle East and Africa. We have social clubs for religious groups, political parties and sexual orientation.

Its a commuter college, mostly. Student housing is now available but most students commute from around the community. Public buses and taxis are in the area but schedules and ease of access may vary for use for scheduled classes.

I actually don't see much of a Greek life on campus. I'm a non-traditional student who commutes to campus or takes online classes. If there is a substantial Greek life, I may just not have seen it.

Lots to choose from; some restaurants are walking distance while others are within 5 mile radius.
College Junior 2013-11-25T17:25:40Z
The campus seems to have plenty of variety and the cafe, vending machines, grill are spread out across campus for easy access.

School policies are tough on campus drinking and messing around.

Health & Safety:
There is always police patrol on campus , so there is high level of security on campus.

housing on campus is fantastic with modern buildings.

I luv my school because it is cute and offers cutting edge science practicals. The student center is excellent and the library is well-stocked.
College Junior 2013-11-18T05:58:10Z
Few places for dining off-campus. Few student discounts and stuff.
College Junior 2013-11-18T05:55:52Z
I plan to have an internship. I have no trouble finding an internship. I have been a student leader before( Health Prefect)

Guys & Girls:
Campus girls are smart and reserved. No interesting social scenes on campus.
College Junior 2013-11-18T05:50:22Z
It is okay because there trolley buses everywhere to pick up students who don't have cars.
College Junior 2013-11-18T05:47:26Z
Greek life is okay, because it is peaceful and makes campus life so diverse and interesting.

I really like my school. I love my major and the people I've met. I like being close to home and able to see my family all the time still. I sometimes think I would like to have had a big college experience, but it's a little to late.
College Junior 2013-11-11T01:17:46Z
Parking permits are not too expensive, but I do think you need a car! Most of the people who go to school live off campus so there is a bit of driving required. There are some times throughout the day that finding a parking spot is really difficult, but all you have to do it come a little early and you'll be fine.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
