South Bend has a lot of shopping, clubs, and is near ND.

Though we are a smaller town, we do have things to do. And we are located right by Notre Dame.

South Bend is still a relatively small city, but as it grows, a lot more attractions will be offered. The dining in South Bend is quite amazing. There is an abundance of restaurants to choose from and a lot of social events like Biking the Bend and charity walks for Breast Cancer Awareness. Overall, South Bend is an interesting city.

Area attractions are mostly in south bend, but they're more for family outings. Activities in town are rare, but at school there are a couple every week. There's no culture in this town. There have been safety issues on campus a couple times, mostly because it's in a bad neighborhood in south bend (not the worst, but not the kind you walk around in at night). Sports--well there's Notre Dame and the silverhawks, thats about it. The attitude towards students can be a little judgmental, since they're used to dealing with Notre Dame students who have a tendency to be a bit wild. Once they know you're from IUSB, it's fine.

South Bend is a great place for those who don't want a crazy city life yet still want to have some excitement. Apparently one of the best attractions is the University of Notre Dame, which is about twenty minutes away from IUSB's campus. Of course, they have their football games, but the Debartolo Arts Center offers screenings of amazing films and their library is phenomenal. There are always plenty of festivals going on around South Bend, and IUSB isn't far from two of the major shopping centers. As for students, almost everywhere has a student discount.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
