At IU, the guys come from all over the country, but there are a lot of Midwestern boys with Midwestern attitudes; the phrase “I grew up on a farm” is not exactly rare, and many of these boys adhere strongly to their principles, like family values and intense work ethic. Of course, Indiana boys are not all IU has to offer. We’ve got hot East Coast guys, cool West Coast guys, and every kind of guy in between. The reputation of certain programs, like the music school and the Kelley school of business, draw students from around the globe. Added bonus: no matter what background they come from, they’re mostly good-looking.
Girls at IU are of the same mold as the guys. They outnumber the men by a little bit, but come from the same range of places and have the same range of lifestyles. The women here can teach you how to throw a punch, crochet, or solve for x in an equation. Like the boys, they come in all shapes and sizes with their own set of morals and ideals. Also like the boys, girls are generally very, very attractive. Guys and girls both cover the spectrum from conservative to promiscuous, so you can find a casual fling easily—but the serious relationship is prominent. Just want to hook up? With 40,000 kids, you should be able to find a buddy.

Greek Life
The guys and girls are pretty diverse at IU. Some are more hipster but there are also a lot of preppy people. I would definitely get into Greek life because you'll feel like an outsider if you don't.
