I'm strictly online, I don't go near the campus.

The instructors are actual people who are in the field that they are teaching. They have real-life experience. I think that is the best type of experience to have when teaching. They are informative and try to make the live chats as fun and educational as possible.

I hate to admit it, I haven't really checked them out yet.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The people at the financial aid office were so helpful and informative. While the tuition may be a little steep, they go above and beyond to make sure that you get the money you need to get in.

There's an online library, though I never use it. I much prefer doing all my research using good ole' Google.

I don't go on campus. My schooling is online.
College Sophomore 2013-11-17T07:32:00Z
There are some students there who just...refuse to talk to a person, then there are others that I look forward to speaking with because they are so fun and kind.

I love the material! They try to focus on the degree you're getting into,, and they have your entire degree plan already mapped out for you. You know what classes you are going to have, before you have them.
College Sophomore 2013-11-17T07:30:42Z
I honestly am not good at discussing this type of stuff, so all I'll say is that it's awesome!
College Sophomore 2013-11-17T07:29:06Z
There's not much to say. I basically work on my assignments when I want. As long as they are turned in on time, it doesn't matter.
College Sophomore 2013-11-17T07:27:47Z
While, yes I love this school, there are some things I wish I could change. One thing is the availability of the instructors. They are only available on certain days at certain times. That's ok for those students who are home all the time, but what about the ones who are at work on those days?

Career minded, and very knowledgeable. From all different fields and willing to share knowledge

Works around your schedule. I can work at home anytime of day and do not have to worry about work or family life. They do require a lot of time beyond specific class time. Usually 4-8 hrs out side of class time.

From day one have had workshops to prepare for graduation and going into the field

IADT does not accept credits from other colleges, nor do their credits transfer. This was disappointing to me since I definitely had enough credits to bypass required classes such as Math and English. I didn't want to start over completely, but I decided to continue with registration since the degree takes less time than traditional colleges. As far as classes, they are very flexible since all live chats are archived for any student unable to attend during the time of recording.

I've utilized the library, tutoring and clubs on my online campus. So far, they've all been very helpful and user friendly. We've also had live chats with Alumni as well as career scouts which was very exciting because we had a chance to ask very important questions about post graduate interviews and portfolio building. All of the resources available are easily accessible as well as highly advertised.

So far, I've had a favorable experience at IADT Online. The registration process was very straight forward, my student advisor is very involved with her students, and the online campus is easy to navigate. There are plenty of ways to ask for help via chat, emails and for many staff members, phone/mobile. Live chat classes are scheduled evenly throughout the week which allows for a steady pace to do homework as well as room for tutoring or individual instruction if needed. I'm also interested in transferring to a live campus in my final year, which is allowed at IADT. I feel that the curriculum is very well planned and I'm learning at a steady pace. I have tremendous faith in my future as a Graphic Designer thanks to IADT Online. Their Facebook page is awesome for me when I need a critique on my work or just a quick answer to a question. Overall, I really love this college. My only criticism is rather personal. I don't exactly find some of my instructors are able to hold my attention, but I will admit that is more my problem than theirs.

It's been a very rare time when the server for the online campus has gone down. The few times that the server has gone down, the IT department work really fast to get the site back up and working.

Since I'm an online student, I don't have access to the physical ground campus. However, I've used their library facilities for many of assignments and I've been able to find useful information I need for my assignments and projects.

The professors are very knowledgeable in their fields. Professors are from all around the country and most have regular jobs in the fields they are teaching or are on campus professors at other colleges or Universities. Some Professors are even willing to provide one on one online sessions if a student is really having an issue or will refer students to the tutoring sessions that are available for the class. It's all online but all the help you need is there if you take advantage of it.

The online campus is very easy to get used to. I have really enjoyed the convenience of attending classes online. We have relocated multiple times which would have severely affected me if I had tried going back to a traditional school. I have had some setbacks while attending but I have stuck with it rather than just giving up. Teachers, Advisors, and even the department head can be easily reached and timely responses are given. This school is more structured than others and have live class sessions where you can communicate with both teachers and other students in the classes, but are also recorded for students that are not available during the live class sessions due to working or other reasons. I would recommend IADT to anyone looking for a degree in any Design Industry

My school consists of a varied age rage, with the average age being 27 for both the overall student body as well as students in the Video Game Production program which I am currently in. Many students are working class with full time jobs and families who have chosen the online program because it is more convenient to meet their personal needs. Most are looking to change careers after graduation.

They offer the course that I'm looking for and was able to get me enrolled quickly. I enrolled during the end of 2011, then I started classes in January 2012.
College Junior 2013-08-28T22:31:04Z
Since I'm an online student I've only interacted with a hand full of my peers. One of the main things I've noticed that there's more females than males in my courses.
College Junior 2013-08-28T22:28:36Z
Initially, I wasn't into taking online courses, but because of my hectic work schedule I didn't have a choice. Once I began taking the classes, I found it to be exactly what I needed, because I could listen to the archive lectures and other recording needed for the class. Also, I'm able to submit assignments even after business hours which works out better for my schedule. Lastly, I store all my assignments online and not having the fear of losing my assignments. It's perfect for my lifestyle right now.
