My classes can always be changed to online courses, year-round. The only hassles that I've had to deal with is learning how to use the student portal and turn in a lot of computer-based assignments. which, i'm dealing with much better. I just started last month, so my experience, so far, is limited. I'm knocking out my general education courses right now, because next term I'm switching from a BA in Graphic Design to a BS in Animation Technology. But even the general education courses get me jazzed up, they're enlightening to say the least.

There are two computer labs which have 20-25 desktop computers always available to all students, as well as a mac lab which have 20-25 desktop Macintosh computers also available to all students. The library also has 20-25 desktop computers. Every single computer always have internet access, which is fast and reliable.

Like I said in my last review, this campus holds multiple clubs such as Studio Vision club, of which I am a member of. These clubs often offer free food, portfolio building, and career building opportunities. There is, in addition to the student library which has about 20-25 desktop computers, all students are open to use the online Cybrary. The Cybrary is a database that has millions of books, journal articles, newspaper articles, blogs, and other informational texts available at the touche of a button. Many other student services including Emergency Medical Services and Transportation Services available 24/7. There is also, in the student hallways, bins that hold current part-time applications that any student can fill out and drop off. There is also the Career Services Office, lead by Cheryl Lugo, and Vicki Parsons, which assists a student in resume building and interviewing. Like I said, this school is awesome.

They have multiple clubs that you can join, the staff and administration are always willing to work with you, they hold free services such as one-two hour informational classes as well as events for the students. Tutoring, financial aid, emergency medical services, etc. are always available if needed. This school is pretty awesome.

The facilities aren't too bad. The restrooms are always clean, the hallways swept and kept nicely. I wish the breakroom would have an easier way of getting food.

My specific major is Graphic Design. My program allows me to become a wide variety of things. From a billboard maker, to a web designer; any form of art, even freelancing.

I wish there were more majors offered at my school. The academic programs they have for the majors they already have, are very good. It gives you a wide and diversity within the major it self. The workload is pretty big sometimes, but it's school. School is a pretty hefty thing. Teachers are really good with helping their students that are in need. Everyone has their own life, and it's kind of the teachers to allow extentions.

We have a variety of students at our school from different cities all around. Everyone with their own stories, making everyday an adventure. Everyone here is very kind allowing it easier to make friends. Getting new perspective of life from others can really help you decided on your career.

Pretty good ethnic mix. I'm not sure of any other aspects of it though.
To be honest, have not heard too much from them.

The info is always there, but the way it's delivered & the collaboration to really connect with all the students could be better.

I think the amount of sketches we have for homework is ridiculous.
But to be fair, I dislike sketching in general. It's just, when they tell us we cannot have any weekend time to ourselves, and it has to be spent on homework, it's very depressing & I watched myself & at least a handful of other students weep because of it.

There's definitely knowledge behind the teachers, but only a few of them should be teachers. Maybe the rest are still learning. I don't know. The school is still trying to "find itself" and maybe it's almost there? There's been so many changes & so many people who have some & gone it's crazy. I think the "no late work" policies are completely unfair though. Students have lives (many are actually very complicated nowadays) not at the "simple designer lifestyle/way of thinking" yet cause some can't start to be until after they graduate.

The Facilities Are Not Bad – IADT is small school. We don't have sports, or other activities. We are a bunch of artistic people. We all have the basic necessities here. If we were bigger the other things that big institutions have would be needed.

They do not have flexibility, they have a list of probably about 10 classes per semester per major that you can sign up for. They have already picked out their dates and times, however if you choose an online class you do not know the date or the time until about a week before it starts.

Miserable Surprised – Though this school does have some very interesting and fun teachers as well as students, I am pretty unpleasing with it. They are constantly changing their rules and regulations to make things harder for their students. For example they no longer allow you to transfer out side credits in, you cant switch schools because their credits do not transfer over. And they have recently changed their gpa higher to get deans list and presidents list because to many people were getting awards. Not only that you can only take the your majors classes, pretty much everything they told me to get me to come to this school they have change. Making it a bad experience instead of a good one.

This Has Been the Best Decision I 'Ve Ever Made. I realy enjoy going to iadt. The Staff are dediacatied, and profisional, they go above and beond every day, the campus is personal I feel right at home. I find myself braging to friends all the time about how much I 've learned already.
I just finished color theroy and i felt like I was back in grade school coloring with crayola's all over agien. How ever the school does lack the latest technology as they still run g5's and 10.5 and adobe cs 4 in the mac lab. But I will say the instructors know there stuff.

Career Center a Lot of Help – n./a have not graduated yet. But alot of the students land jobs right after gradution, so Im pretty confident that I will too. The career center is very helpful, the lady that is incharge really helps with grooming you for the real world.

ALL THAT AND SOME! My school has student portal that allows all students to use off campus, in the protal you can do EVERYTHING from registering classes, emailing staff and teachers, we have access to the cyber library which is like having a real library right in your home!! We are even members with diffrent sites for individuals main major so you can have access to those as well!! There are always clubs available like the haute couture club for those in fashion and photoshop clubs for any one interested in learning extra things even if its not your major.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
