Grads Entering Job Market
Advice
- You won’t ever have to feel alone when you’re looking for a job following your graduation from Iowa State University. ISU offers a lot of student services to help you find a job that best suits you and your needs. Attend career days and job fairs—they will give you a lot of information in a short amount of time. Keep in contact with both your adviser and ISU Career Services. On AccessPlus, the Web site where you can view and pay bills and register for class, there are student jobs posted for the school year and summer. While you are a student, you can work in various jobs on campus, such as food service or work study where your wages go toward your tuition. Your advisor can also set you up with internships and other opportunities. Get to know your advisor and professors, as they are valuable references.

the College Prowler guide to their school. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain internship experience, be a part of a nationally
recognized company, gain tremendous exposure, utilize new media techniques, and share advice with high school students about what life is
really like at your college. Read more >
