Trying to get credits transferred from another school was a bit of a hassle. There is not much room for curriculum flexibility because of the small footprint of the student body, there are only so many classes and instructors to go around. If you miss a course from your major you may end up out of sync with the rest of your class and have to make it up at a later date or a different graduating class.

Since the campus is so small, there are not many majors. Electronics, Game Design, Project Management, Drafting, Criminal Justice, Network Administration, Cyber Security, Business Management. With these choices most of the instructors are experts in the field that teach on the side and are not full time instructors, which brings real life experience into the classroom and not just theory.

The core curriculum is demanding if you want a good grade, the instructors are there to help, if you want it. The Instructors are good but they are not going to kill themselves to make you get the grade. The facilities are fairly new, and the equipment they have to work with (computer labs) are fairly new and being upgraded as we speak. Internships are out there, but they are not handed to you, you sort of have to chase them down. In the Cyber/Information System Security field the opportunities are growing by leaps and bounds with every hack of a business and threat to public infrastructure.

Well they don't even really want to talk to you unless your about to graduate.

The curriculum rarely matched the lab work in my first year, you would think as much money as it costs that the labs would match the books. Also its a bummer that you cant get any certifications through the school or the fact they dont offer any kind of classes to get you reqady to take a certification test.

For the size of the campus the facilities are not bad. There is a small library with a wall of reference books and 14 computers available to those in need of one. The student entrance is also the main break/snack area with a few vending machines. Half of the classrooms are computer labs and are available for use in between classes and there are usually one or two open during classes and most instructors don't mind someone completing some work as long as they are not disruptive. The instructors are all very knowledgeable as they are usually currently working in them or have.
