I'm spending tons of money on materials and books that I never open in a class setting...Very disappointed

They are always trying to get someone a job. I think that they would almost spend to much time on it. They interupt the classes with job fair stuff and make up fake interviews for students as a big part of their grade. I think that they should have Career Services outside of the classroom. We know if we need a job we will come to them.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
This really needs to have two grades. The price is not worth the school. on the other hand the financial aid department is very helpful, just slow. I have submitted in for a loan and the loan company sent me a letter saying that the school has the money of 8,000 and the school says that they have to hold it to make sure that I stay in class. As far as it goes for me if the loan company and me set a deal and they have sent me the money then the school should not hold it at all. I have already finished one quarter and still waiting on my money.

It is good but, I do think that it could be better. I am taking the business courses and I dont think that it is a good as what I could get and a university. If I feel this way I am sure that employers would think this way too. I wish that they would take a little more time on different topics during the course. I feel that sometimes that it is all about the money when it comes to going to school there. They want to push students through quickly and charge a very high rate. I feel that if I was to go to a different school, in the end, I would have a degree that means more to other people as far as using it to get a job.

I am a business major. The classes that I have taken so far have been great. One thing that I like the most about the teachers is that most of them have real world experience in the subject that they are teaching. This helps when it comes to asking questions that are not from the books. The one thing that I do not like about the curriculum is that some of the course material does not flow very well. An example of this is the tests that we take. A lot of classes have online assignments that you have to log into with a code from the book for that class. If you do the assignments and study the online parts you will do good on the test. The problem is that not every teacher uses the online assignments, one, because they don't want to and two, sometimes we can't log in and the company responsible for this will not respond back to the teacher. The slides that the teachers uses helps but the wording can be very different than that of the material on line which is on the test.

Whatever you need, ITT will have. A library that is open every day for students that has multiple computers and a printer. They have different labs available for stydy if needed and they offer free wifi for students who bring their laptops to school.

I'm not really feeling like I'm getting my money's worth of education at ITT Tech. The instructors go too fast and not all of the curriculum is covered. Some classes we just sit around and play on a computer the whole time we're there. It just seems like a waste. I'm hungry for knowledge and I have a passion to build my portfolio, but I can't if I'm not learning anything. But I've only been here for 1 quarter so we'll see how it goes from here.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
