First week there and so far it is good. I like the different teachers I have

I received my Associates in Visual Communications and it was a very good experience until I started my Bachelors program in Project Management (which I was falsely talked into and it has nothing to do with Graphic Designing) plus all my past VC instructors aren't even in the campus anymore.

We only go on field trips in certain courses once a quarter.

Nothing wrong with the computers, except it can be a little slow at times.

Everything is fine (books and computer wise), except the ITT Virtual Library is a very terrible resource.

The small class (less than 10 students) are excellent, however the bigger classes are not up to par, too many students (some talk too much when trying to learn something) which leads to not enough help time 1-on-1 (I need extra assinstance). Also most Bachelor courses are inconvenient due to only being available at nights (6:00-10:45 pm) and I work Graveyard shift while riding public transportation. I expect a little more from this Institution.

It's Good – The computer labs are clean, and I think printing is included in your tuition, but students can print as many pages as needed. The network is sometimes reliable, but since the new summer quarter in 2012 the internet cuts off once in a while.

It's a Good School – The school provides a computer lab everyone could use, but it is kind of small, so it gets pretty crowded during the last weeks of a quarter. Although they do work with your schedule when you start your first quarters at the school, the farther you advance, the less flexible the classes get for example some classes are only available once in a while. Also in my experience, online classes are confusing at first but you get used to it.

Managing Time – I struggled with my online class only because I do not have time at home being a single mom to sit down and actually focus. I am only good on campus where I have no distractions. The course would have been a lot easier had I prepared myself for the workload. It seemed to be more work online than on campus. I had an understanding teacher who made my experience much better than anticipated.

Unique Teachers – From this experience I was able to network with the few good teachers the school employed. I enjoyed their advice and dedication to make sure I did accomplish my goals within the program.

Terrible Mistake – I feel that my school is a total rip off to students that would like to further their education. You are lured in believing your credits are transferable when they aren't. Itt-Tech is a nationally accredited school that is looked down upon by employers as well as regionally accredited schools. When I signed up I was told that I could transfer to a Cal State at anytime, which was a lie. They fabricated numbers to get you to sign up and then in the end tell you that your BSBA will cost you roughly $80,000. By then it is too late to turn back. I would not choose this school again and if I could do it all over again, I would go to a city college and transfer out to a cal state university. I do not have the funds to repay my loans so I do see an issue in the future. I just hope that I can find a job that will allow me to take care of my financial responsibility.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
