Tuition & Financial Aid:
Was pretty straight forward, I knew what I was paying for. My financial aid paid for my schooling.

I love my teachers and how they teach. Their teaching styles help me learn better.

I love everything about my school. It is close, has small classes, does not cost much and the teachers are great teachers. The only issue I have with out campus is if you need tutoring you have to drive out of town to get help.

I have had a great experience with my professors so far. Each one tries to help you in whatever way they can and try to keep everyone on the same page.

I believe all of the teachers try to challenge you and get you to learn new things, while being comfortable too. They are always their to help too!

I believe Ivy Tech does their best to work with you and help you in anyway. Of course they are not perfect, and occasionally you will run into some things that could be better, but overall it is a great school.

Most labs are usually full or the computers are down.

Online courses can have some pretty good advatages like no commuting. But, it can be a little scary if you're doing them for the first time. I had never done it before and I thought it would be easy, but it was a completely different experice than I was use to and the work was pretty difficult. The fact that the instructor isn't there, right in front of you, to teach, you kind of have to teach yourself, which is a huge disadvantage. It was hard to learn everything on my own.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have had financial aid from Ivy Tech every semester except for the summer courses. The price is ridiculous. Now they are saying we have to fill out something to see if they approve for us to get the loans. I have to get the loans because it helps me catch up on my bills, take care of my babies, and gets me to work. I'm worried about this coming year.

The computer network is nonstop having problems and all the computers are old and extremely slow.
College Junior 2013-04-28T17:19:53Z
I literally just take class at Ivy Tech; when I am on campus it is only for classes, thus I really don't have much of a "campus life." The school also does not have any unique opportunities.

The reason I chose this school was because I wanted to be closer to home and hope to transfer to Ball State University next spring. I would give this school a C+ because the school doesn't have many extracurricular activities to get students involved and some of the teachers seem as if they do not like their job, thus it does not motivate the students to really participate in class. Also, the class work is not challenging enough for me.

Most everyone I have met have been very nice and are willing to answer question I might have. Everyone walking the halls are generally smiling.

It was all degree oriented classes! I don't have to take a bunch of stuff that I will never use.

I would say that the many different times classes are offered are quite varied. It makes it very easy to schedule multiple classes.
College Junior 2013-02-24T22:23:37Z
I feel the school goes out of the way to make sure that the students understand what they are doing. I feel like the school has a few classes that is not important, but what school does not have that.

We have a learning resource center and an on-line library.

I have only taken one class and it's a class that is required of all students attending this college. However, it has helped a lot!

This is the first time i have ever attended college. It has mostly been a good experience. I did not have a favorable experience with the financial aid department. They were rude and acted like I was suppose to know what I was doing. I had more help from outside friends than the financial aid department. I have not had to deal with transferring credits.

Being a physical therapy assistant student is something that requires a great deal of work but it worth it in the end. The workload is very intense especially during the first semester. But they plan it that way to get us used to the schedule we will have when we get our first job. Everything they do here to us as students has a purpose: to prepare us to be the very best therapist we can be. And our professors are always available to talk, explain, and they will do almost anything to get you in the internship you request.

The main reason that I chose this school is because its close to home. Also I can save a lot of money per credit house/class I take. Compared to big universities, the cost of the classes I am taking now would have been doubled at least. Also most of the classes are transferable to other colleges and universities.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
