Do to the nature of my school, many of the students have low intelligence, have criminal records, are nontradional, are impoverished, and/or have no will to learn and are going there because their parents are paying for it. There are a few students, like me, that are intelligent and want to learn but cannot afford a four year college or university.

The buildings are there to hold classrooms and nothing more. There is a nice music and performing complex, but recently the administration scrapped all the music and performing arts programs and not the building is only rented out to outside acts and performers. The students don't even get free or discounted admission to these shows. There is no green space. There is housing on campus, but it is expensive and there are no perks such as a meal plan or laundry. There are no clubs or activities to do. I drive to school, go to class, and leave.

The classes are great, but they are rarely transferable and there are not many options, making scheduling difficult.

The school is a great place to start if you have no money, like me, but if I met someone that could afford to go elsewhere, I'd tell them to go to my college. The administration is horrible and if I have a question about something like financial aid, I am not allowed to speak directly to the financial aid office. My professors always complain about the administration and I agree with everything they say. The college recently changed its name to "Jackson College" in an attempt to trick students into thinking they have real academic programs. The classes are so low level that most colleges will not accept them when you transfer. They awarded my financial aid to another student by mistake and then gave me a smaller award than what I was originally going to get. I do like my professors, they seem to actually care for their students.

I do not take any of the online classes and cannot rate them. To my knowledge, there are not many online courses, and if there are I doubt they count for credit.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
