Jackson State Community College Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 332 reviews
I love being a green jay! Every professor is extremely talented and truly cares for the students. The first month of every semester our college pays food trucks to cater us. They are constantly trying to find new ways to improve and help students.
So far, since returning to school, Jackson State Community College has made my transition as easy as it could have been. Everyone is so committed to helping students in every way. My professors have been phenomenal as well. I have learned so much, and with the ability to take online classes, I can learn in the comfort of my own home and still be able to uphold my responsibilities at home and my full time job. All of my pre-requisites have been taken online, but I do wish portions of the nursing program were offered online or at night for people who need to still work during school. That is my only suggestion. They are doing great in every other area.
Academics at Jackson State were amazing. The only complaint I had was it’s difficult to get a response back from university staff if you call or email with a question. A lot of things I had to figure out for myself.
