  • Homecoming, which takes place in late October, and Reunion Weekend, which is in late April, are the biggest alumni events. In between, there are luncheons, meetings, happy hours, and countless invitations to athletic events.

Charles Haley
(Class of ‘87) – The only player in NFL history to own five Super Bowl rings.
Delvin Joyce
(Class of ‘00) – A punt returner who signed as a free agent with the New York Giants in February 2002.
Curtis Keaton
(Class of ‘00) – Now a reserve running back with the New Orleans Saints, he was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

Also, with 41 alumni serving as Peace Corp volunteers in developing countries, JMU was ranked fifth nationally in 2003 among medium-size colleges whose alumni serve abroad.
