Interviews & Information Sessions
During the fall and winter, the Office of Admissions offers group information sessions and student-guided tours Monday through Friday and, occasionally, on Saturdays. In July, the same schedule applies. In August, informational sessions are available along with a booklet to help you take a self-guided tour. If you were psyched for an interview, you may want to de-psych, because JMU does not offer them. In place of an interview, JMU requires a personal statement in the application. It’s a sort of interview on paper.
