I am an athletic training major which is not offered at my school which is why I am transferring to a university that offers it. There for I am taking general education classes and some classes that will transfer to the university which helps because they are free right now since I am on a much needed scholarship.

The computer network at my school works well. The only thing is when there are a lot of students on at once it tends to run slower than normal. We have several computer labs which is great, you are almost always guaranteed a computer when in need. Also my school offers free printing which is great.

The professors at my school are easy to contact. They give us their office hours and make it clear we are more than welcome to come by when we need help. With it being a junior college I feel like the workload is pretty manageable, its a step above high school but not quite university level. Over all the academic experience is decent.

The younger student body of my school do not seem to take community college very serious. They are there to get their associates degree and be done. The older students at my school seem ambitious to get a degree and move on to higher level education at a university. They have families they want to be able to provide for and better their lives as well.

The professors are pretty nice and are good at teaching. Some of the curriculum I don't like depending on the class. The workload is hard and/or easy depending on the projects or homework I get and the subject I'm in. Class registration is easy s long as you have someone to guide you with what classes you want to take, and what classes you need to take in order to graduate.

I'm an art major and i'm only taking one art class because I wanted to get the basics out of the way, but I love the art class i'm in. I'm currently taking pottery and the teacher is a good teacher and pretty nice He makes me want to take other classes that deal with art. The workload is pretty easy but challenging and the facilities are nice. I'm thinking of taking a graphic design class and photography class next.

Iv'e never been to the athletic centers, but they seem pretty nice on the outside. The student center, and library are very helpful whenever I have questions. I love the different campus activities, but most of them I can't attend because I am usually busy or in class.

The computer network is good, but gets a little slow depending on how many people are on it. I love printing on campus in the library; there is no fee, and it really saves trees because the printers automatically print front to back. However, the WiFi can get iffy depending on peoples location and what device is being used.

The students are from many different cultures, ages and backgrounds. However, we all seem to blend well together and help one another learn in the classrooms. The differences in our learning backgrounds help to enhance our learning perspectives.

The online class that I have seems to be readily available and the instructor takes time to help you. I think this class is enjoyable while I am able to take the class from the convenience of my home.

They have many available computers available for use on campus. The network seems to be quite efficient and off campus I have not had any issues to connect with the campus.

The school has some great enthusiasm and seems to get the students involved in many of the different activities.

The library is full of computers and many other resources to help you with your classroom studies. They have a vast array of books that will help you or explore your other passions in life. They have a Math Lab, Writing Lab, Testing Center, as well as tutoring. I think it is convenient to have them all centrally located on campus.

Dropped several classes especially Trig 3 times as I just couldn't get it, also due to illness and the passing of a close family member I had to drop last semester.

Jefferson college has a wide age range for those taking classes. I have a lot of adults who are in classes with me, and I respect that because they're going back to get the education they need when they have a family and a Job as well. There are a lot of students from a few different countries. People at JeffCo are very accepting.

Online classes cause you to dig into the book more. It is different because you don't see your teacher face to face, but there is very good communication from the teacher to students.

The computer network is excellent and very reliable, as welll as the speed. You will not need your personal computer because as well as allowing you access to a desktop, they also rent out laptops!

I have enjoyed taking classes online. It made things more convenient, and taught me better time management. My online class professors have been easy to contact and get a hold of when the need arises, and are extremely helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The assistance I received with my tuition and help with getting all my paperwork submitted was a great experience. I am very greatful because now I am able to concentrate on my classes. My tuition that I am paying now is well worth it. I am one step closer to a great career that I will not have to worry about job security. If I have any questions with financial aid, I can go see them, email them, or call them. They have a section on their website offering help with financial aid, and will direct you through the whole process.

My college has several ways to help obtain a career. They have a career center that posts available jobs on the schools website and email accounts. They also sponsor job fairs for the college and the community.

This college has many class opportunities to help with various students' personal schedules. They have several college branches that also help with a students' distance. The instructotrs seem to work with you and if you have to be absent for an important class, they offer you to take the same class on another day or time frame. The curriculum seems to be right on target and the ease of transferring credits was easy.

I'm a new student this semester at Jefferson. I am enjoying my classes, and new experiences that I am encountering. I have met so many nice people as I'm working on some of my prerequisites.

I wish there was a bit more guidance offered to me when I first entered the school. I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but I orginally had no idea the path I needed to take to achieve my goal. Eventually I received the help I needed, but I just wished I would have received it sooner. Other than that my professors and classwork were great.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
