Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Overall, students love being students at John Carroll, but it is important to remember that there are always things that could be better—no matter the university. However, most John Carroll students said that they would pick JCU again if they had the chance to do it all over. The close community at John Carroll is really one of the University's biggest pluses. You will never love everything about the school that you choose, but it is important to pick a school based on what is important to you.

A lot of students tell freshmen that if they don't get involved in things on campus, they will miss out on a lot of great opportunities, fun times, and wonderful people. This is true. College is mostly what you make it. It is about meeting new people, growing as a person, and taking advantage of experiences and opportunities that are readily available to you. John Carroll will become your home and your friends will become your family. It is a wonderful feeling to be at what you feel is "the right school" for you.

Drinking Is Popular, Some Smoke

The drug scene at John Carroll isn't that big. Although, there are a handful of students who smoke weed. Most preferred and most popular activity is drinking.
