John Carroll is known for being a white, upper-middle-class, Catholic university. Although many students who fit this mold attend John Carroll, the school is really more diverse than you might think. The University has students of many different ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations whom all share their cultures, interests, and struggles with the John Carroll community.
John Carroll has many organizations on campus that cater to minorities, even for how small the school is. Most students would agree that John Carroll is diverse and that most students are very accepting and tolerant of differences. At John Carroll, you will not be left out of anything for any reason pertaining to differences amongst one another. Finally, John Carroll does also welcome international students, so there are always students from different parts of the world whom are also treated well at John Carroll.
