Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Call (410) 516-8171 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office requests two weeks' advance notice when scheduling an interview. Students may request on-campus interviews from February of their junior year until November of their senior year. Due to the high volume of requests, however, they cannot always guarantee availability. All interviews take place in the admissions building in Mason Hall.

Campus Tours

Any visitor may participate in a guided tour of Johns Hopkins. Information sessions and tours begin in the lobby of Mason Hall. Reservations are only required if your group has 20 or more people. Large groups are asked to call (410) 516-8171 at least two weeks in advance. Those needing special accommodations or disability access are also asked to call a week ahead. The information sessions are offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on most weekdays, followed by guided tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. For an up-to-date guided tour schedule, visit apply.jhu.edu/visit/guidedtours.html.

Overnight Visits

An overnight visit is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at campus life by staying overnight with a current student as your host. Visits are encouraged for prospective and current applicants during the fall, and accepted applicants during the spring. Students can visit on select Sunday evenings and weekends during fall and spring semesters and select dates in conjunction with on-campus programs.
