At the begining of the school year, my school is great about gathering businesses and employers from around the area for a job fair, for students to find part-time employment as well as to talk to perspective employers for the future after graduation and internship opportunities. The career center is great about helping prepare resumes and set up job opportunities.

The career service department at JWU helped me get an awesome internship in the Spring trimester of my Sophomore year but failed to help me when I began to struggle with my internship. However, the counselors always were willing to work with me and meet to discuss my options. They worked hard at networking with various Chefs and leaders in the Cooking industry to help mt land not one but two solid internships.

Job Prospects – Since our internship is mandatory, JWU helps us create a long lasting relationship with the companies we intern for. In turn they help us pave a way for the future.
