Our school is very diverse. We have a many different students of different ages, religions, and ethnic groups. I love being able to meet so many people from so many different backgrounds.

For a small, rural, community college I am pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the student body. We have students of all ages, races, and backgrounds that it makes it difficult to define the "typical" student. In terms of the students that are in my program of study (Ultrasound), I believe the one common trait each student possess is commitment. The program itself was a challenge to get into so being selected really meant something to each of us.

One Big Family. It's a community college, so the students are as varied as they come. Everyone has a story, and many have led either extraordinary or non-traditional lives. Some people are just inspired. Others are lazy and never really grew up. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, you'll find friends and develop lifelong mentors. You'll find you become a more well-rounded person who's more accepting of all types. And most importantly, you'll find your place in it all.

The Staff Is Very Helpful and Encouraging – The staff is very helpful in assisting the student into following the future goals. The staff will answer question a student may have and if the staff do not know the answer they will not allow the student to leave until their question is answered to the students satisfying with understanding.

People Here Are Eclectic. A large number of the students here are continuing education students or middle-aged adults returning to school. Because of this, many of them do have children and full-time jobs that they must plan their lives (including classes) around.
