Thus far I have been satisfied with my education. My degree is not in the field of study in which I work, but helped me in some of my day-to-day work experiences.

Jones, really do not have any "Greek" affiliations, students have tried to start some, but the interest level is not there.

Health & Safety:
The safety on campus is pretty standard. There is a nighttime security guard that stays inside more than outside ensuring the safety of the nighttime students. Considering this school is geared more toward continuing adult students, there are no dorms on campus.

There is public bus transportation within 50 feet of the campus. This is very accessible for students that rely on the public transportation system. They school does not have transportation available to its students.

Academically Speaking – Jones College is not very large, does not have many staff or instructors, which is good and bad. For the most part the staff and instructors at Jones College are mainstays, there are not many changes that take place often.
There are only a handful of majors to chose from. For a Distance Learning student the degree options are limited. The curriculum is pretty easy to follow, because it doesn't change often and the workload is about average of many colleges.

Acceptable for Adults – Jones College is a very nice convenient place to attend if you are a working adult who is re entering college or attaining a degree to advance in your job. They have two locations in Jacksonville, FL which makes it accessible for people living in quite a few areas.
This is not the place for a recent high school graduate who wants a fun, activity filled, social college experience. There are no sport teams, social activities, no sororities or fraternities, no gym or theater, just computer labs, classrooms, and parking spaces.
Though it is a small private owned school that is geared towards assisting adults with obtaining their college degree, the atmosphere is light and welcoming. Most of the instructors, office personnel, even the deans are pretty cool. They are helpful and personable. Overall it's not that bad.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
