Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Too good to be true? Possibly, but overall, most Juniata students really do love Juniata. They don’t always like it, but most of the time they do. Why do they love it, and why do they not? Because Juniata is a small college in a small town. Yes, it has its advantages, and it has its drawbacks. If something’s going to kill your experience, it’s bound to be its smallness. But overall and overwhelmingly? Well, you’ve just read it. Students and professors are warm, welcoming, and largely open-minded. Opportunities on campus and around the world are literally endless and growing.

The College is not perfect, but if something’s wrong or broken, the administration does its best to fix it. Students appreciate that. As with anything you love, it’s true that sometimes you just don’t like whatever it is you say you adore, but that doesn’t change your feelings in the end. That pretty much sums up the Juniata experience. Students work hard, have fun, find their passions, and prepare for the world and the future. They also occasionally pull their hair out from claustrophobia. But in the end, they do appreciate Juniata, both while they’re there and after they graduate. And in the end, their overall experiences are precisely why they recommend Juniata so strongly and so happily.

Yay Juniata!

I personally love it here. The classes and professors are great. It is also REALLY easy to contact professors or find someone to answer your questions. The students are very friendly and it is easy to make friends. I also like the rural atmosphere. I have very few complaints about this school. I would absolutely choose it again.

I fell in love with Juniata the first time I visited, and I’ve been there three years and I’m still in love. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better college experience than the one I’m having. I bet nine out of ten JC alums would agree that it’s the best time of your life, not just because it’s college, but because it’s college at Juniata.

I love Juniata. I feel at home here. I can be confident in what I’m doing and take my own ideas and make them happen. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
