Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews are not part of the K-State admissions process, but you can contact (800) 432-8270 or (785) 532-6250 to set up a visit.

Campus Tours

To schedule a tour, call the admissions office toll-free at (800) 432-8270 anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week. In addition to a walking tour of the campus, prospective students have the option of arranging to meet one-on-one with a faculty member in their department of interest and/or a financial aid representative.

Overnight Visits

If scheduled ahead of time, prospective students have the option of staying in a private residence hall room. If not, there are several hotels in the surrounding Manhattan area. Because the room reserved for overnight guests is in an all-girl dorm, men interested in spending the night must consign themselves to either an off-campus hotel or an extremely convincing drag act. Meals, however, are served on a gender-blind basis, and prospectives of both sexes are encouraged to stop by any of the campus dining centers.
