I certainly did not expect this course to be an easy workload.

Teachers have been available for reviews. Some teachers lectures do not match up with the exams that they give which can be frustrating.

There is a high turnover rate of the teachers and some aren't familiar with the curriculum or how Kaplan runs things. So I kind of feel that my nursing class has been somewhat of a guinea pig.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is extremely expensive, and sometimes I feel that I am not learning everything that I need to be learning in such a short amount of time. Financial aid helps in anyway that they can.

The student body at Kaplan College is so diverse. There are many different people from different backgrounds, races, religions, and parts of the world. I feel all that is put aside and we all come together for a purpose and that is to help one another out, get through school and become Nurses.

Once I made the decision to attend Kaplan College it was a smooth process getting in the door. I was required to take two entrance exams. I was given the study guides via email, and were easy to print out at home. I also have quite a bit of transfer credits, thankfully all of my classes transferred and helped my tuition to drop tremendously.

There is a library with plenty of different resources available for students. Computer labs are throughout the college and are accessible for students to use. Printing is very is, and is unlimited to students. Other colleges that I have attended in the past has given students limited amounts of times they could print.

I really have enjoyed attending Kaplan College. I am starting my second quarter and am happy and blessed to be apart of their nursing program. I have not lived in Las Vegas for a very long time, and researched all of the Colleges and Universities I decided to enroll at CSN. I was not impressed with the Instructors at all. I did more research and came across Kaplan College. The faculty and the staff are all so friendly and they seem to genuinely care about their students and want them to succeed.

I see the student body being a diversified and well rounded group of individuals, collectively a team.

Most programs associated at Kaplan are legal/medical related. They have a great medical assisting program, nursing as well! The registration process is simple you just need to make sure that you come ready for all information needed and provide honestly. The workload is quite heavy I will be honest, sometimes I find myself in a rut when completing my work but I always get it done on time, My theory Is be prepared when entering college because it's not high school it is optional. So they expect you to do your work in a timely manner. You choose to go back to school so there is no reason to waste time and money.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
When I first called Kaplan, I had scheduled an appointment to meet with my counselor. She had me in and out in about an hour and the next day I was set with financial aid! Easiest process I have ever been through, I thought that it was going to be more difficult than it was. I believe that my education is one hundred percent worth my tuition. Tips for getting aid at school, be honest about your financial situation they have many grants and scholarships that they can help you find. Remember it is their job to get you into school and if you are determined It will happen, wen you fill out the FAFSA they also have free money to help pay for school also loans as well.

Everyone that attends college at Kaplan has the same goal in mind, getting an education. I don't believe that anyone in particular has the same personal oriented problems or situation. I personally and going through a divorce and work seventy plus hours a week, other people have families or just came out of high school! There is an extreme diversity of people that attend, but it just makes it that more interesting and teaches all of us how we need to learn how to adapt to different groups of people and their environments.

It's more convenient to take classes partially from home, especially for myself because I work almost seventy hours a week. It depends on how hard you work and this will prove your grade at the end of the semester. I find the online library useful, it's easier than driving to a library when I don't have time. I love my professor and there is online help as well. For myself, I am a visual learner and it was more helpful because I have videos, online activities, and of course flashcards.

I am a nursing major and my classes are fairly difficult. Although difficult, they are bearable and actually are very educational. I do not feel like I am wasting my time whatsoever. All the staff are friendly and are very willing to help you succeed in the program.
College Senior 2013-05-17T19:01:31Z
It is a very humbling experience. I am learning a lot so far and it is fairly difficult but after every section, I actually absorbed all the information needed.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition and financial aid process is fairly tedious. But everyone was very helpful. The amount of interaction I am able to have with my instructors as well as the knowledge that they are instilling in our heads are very worth the amount of money I am paying at this school.

The teachers at Kaplan are very helpful and caring. Most of which have actually worked out in the field and are very knowledgeable! They always gave me the impression that they enjoyed what they do!

the administration and staff at my school are friendly, some of them are helpful. Most of the students are adults who are finishing their schooling so most of them work so basically the classes consists of different kind of age group. Other than that the staff and as well as the students are very encouraging to finish school

I will be taking classes Mon-Thurs 6pm-11pm for the next 16 months. Period. There really is no flexibility. It is a school based around the need of mostly adults going back to school. So from what I understand there are very few day time classes (there are exceptions to the rule), but it is a condensed schedule to get you on track and in your new career fast.
College Senior 2013-02-10T18:22:06Z
I was told I would not be taking online courses for the duration of my Associates Degree. However, there online courses for the Bachelors and Masters.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It was very easy to get in and to talk to Financial Aid. I was approved for a Pell Grant and some federal loans as well as a personal loan to cover the rest. However, they did not talk to me all that much. They didn't ask me or tell me about any scholarships or how i might go about trying to get one. They make you look at all the information inline about the subsidized loans and then take an online quiz to make sure you understand the info. All in all, Im not too impressed but it was a very easy and quick process.
