The financial aid process starts with the application students fill out at the beginning of each year. You will be given a link to your financial data, which you need to fill in, and a Financial Aid Officer will help you through everything. The process can be a little difficult for students and requires lots of back-and-forth communication, which can be a timely process and frustrating to some students.
Kaplan University enrolls many students, so it does take some time to get information back in regards to financial aid—the key is to be patient and keep in contact with your academic advisor, who can relay the information if you are not getting the responses you need. This is a common complaint—and really the only complaint—students have with the University, and Kaplan is working really hard to make the adjustments necessary for those who are having difficulties.
