They have an awesome nursing program. I work at a hospital as a receptionist and a lot of my coworkers (RN's) have said KCC is the place to get an education for nursing. A lot has changed since they've been in school but only for the better.

Kauai bus is always available and stops right in front of the main office of the school. Not too many academic programs that interest me.

Everything at the school is almost all great. Some employees at the "One Stop Center" could be a little more friendlier and seem like they are willing to help.

Internet is always available at great speed. Computers are limited and some outdated. Printing is not a problem.

Campus grounds are maintained and looks well kept. Though, inside of the buildings/classrooms look a bit outdated. Students are more helpful than the employees at the office. Library is a great place to study.

The campus resources on this campus are not bad, we have limited resources because we're such a small school. The thing is, not many people realize that there are campus resources, so they don't use them often. Like, there's a good tutoring program and computers are accessible in the library. We also have a printer that we can use for free!!

The professors here I think, have a great relationship with the students and many things are relatable. The only thing about the registration is that there are a lot of courses to choose from but not at a convenient time.

My college consists of those who came right out of high school or others who want to continue their education. Some students, have either full or part-time jobs in school or outside of school. They also have other factors that come into play, like family, sports, or etc. Though many students, go through here and learn something about themselves as well as further their education for their particular major.

My major is actually in Psychology. For now, I'm taking my pre-requisites and later on I'll transfer. I like my classes so far, as well as my teachers. Some of my classes, I'm taking are related to my major, but there's also my electives I have to take. So, for the most part, the workload isn't too overwhelming and the teachers can be lenient.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I was enrolled in a summer course (chemistry). I dropped the course because I felt the instructor was very hard to understand & his teaching methods were very poor. I paid $1,000 for that course & I was glad that I received my full tuition reimbursement back. Fiancial aid was unhelpful. I couldnt receive financial aid because I had an AA degree in liberal arts.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I'm getting is well worth the money I'm paying. If you want to get your liberals taken care of without putting a whole in your pocket KCC is the place to go. There is also a lot of scholarships available.

there is a student lounge, on campus cafe, and library center to do all your work or boredom needs, what more do you need?
College Senior 2013-01-05T00:54:40Z
This school is very small, there are many students who have the same students in multiple classes which create a good relationship and bond.
College Senior 2013-01-05T00:51:20Z
There are many easy places to find for meals such as the mall and the student cafe. Its all real close by and only 5 minutes away.

I have not seen much help with job prospect or job search at the school. I have heard practically nothing of alumni networking, except in the arts. Job prospects from services from the school seem bleak. In fact all I have seen is one board that is about 2'x2' in size nd the notices never seem to be updated. Seems there is no outreach in any form for job posting or search help.

Wow, what a great student center with lots of comfortable couches and lots of games and people that are very friendly, fun and talkative. The computer labs are sometimes full because they are such a wonderful resource, and that is sad when you are one of the people waiting to use a computer. The printers give great quality prints and it was a happy surpirse how good the computer help is from the IT people. I was sad it is so necessary to have a up to date personal computer because it is a big expense to own a computer that is able to do everything required to get to Laulima and to get your assignments done.

The Marine Options, Nursing,Hawaiian Studies, French language, Automobile, Computer Architecture Drafting, Philisophy, Physical Health and Art programs are fantastic and awesome at KCC and sets the school apart from other schools. The avaiilability of so many diverse programs that one can participate in at KCC makes this an exceptional school. The friendliness of people has extended my list of friends to a stellar place. reat school, with great approachable facality and an awesome education at affordable prices. The fact that it is so hot here and that classes are air conditioned is a definit bonus. The grounds contain local plants that are well maintained and it is a place I am pround to be at.

The A is because there are so many on campus daytime events that it is impossible to attend them all. Off campus speakers and guests are frequent and the pulse of activity is wonderful, The on campus Performaning Arts Center has a wide variety of performances to enjoy in the day and nights. The bus pass discount for students and the medical uinsurance are the best one could imagine. I did not give an A+ because smoking is allowed at areas 20 feet from doors to classes and I am forced to walk through second hand smoke to get to some classes.

For the most part, my class schedule is flexible and works into my personal schedule. Most of the teachers aren't so harsh in getting homework done on time. Overall, I just think that the academics is wonderful and as long as you email the teacher you'll always stay on top of things!

I haven't really graduated and won't be till 2 years have gone by. Though, there are a lot of career services that I've been introduced too and is going to really help me a lot with pursuing my career in the long run.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education at this school is worth while. I'm attending most every class that I can and with financial aid, it's helped me a lot with my expenses. I know that if financial aid helps me out through my whole college career, I'll be well on my way to finishing college fast and pursuing my career. I've heard a lot of stories of students who've skipped out on their classes. They lose out on scholarships and with this financial aid it's been helping me a lot to control my expenses as well and wisely.

A because there schedule is allowing me to work and go to school and the minus is because the schedule that i have, T/R, make the teachers give out quite a bit of homework

Give's Me More Time – Having online classes is great. It gives you an education in the comfort of your own home.

Going Good – I like my school. It's not a really big school where I would have to walk far. Having a smaller school also helps making interactions easier. Classes are smaller so that one instructor doesn't have to focus on so many students and may give time to each student, if need at their given hours.
