I can only speak about my major which is Health Services Administration. I believe that it can be improved and be adjusted and adequate to the demands of the jobs the position as a health care administrator has. They should bring instructors from different health care departments representing clinics, hospitals, and private practices and teach us the specific skills administrators in the medical field should master and be familiar with to become marketable after graduation.

The school offers great flexibility to study since it has an excellent Online student program. The problem with Keiser is the limitation they impose regarding transferring credits to other schools which its not permissible.

I am in a BA in HSA major not having present affiliation with a health care setting which puts me in a real disadvantage by the time I have to compete for a position in the labor market. The program is fine because all classes cover the main subjects dealing with management in health care but, only prepare us in theory not in practice. For students like me that are not working in the medical field after finishing the major you feel that you are not prepared to fill a position in a medical setting as an administrator and the school doesn't offer any internship opportunities to gain some experience at least.

For people like me who are studying to change a career there is no help at all. The school doesn't even have internship agreements with any company in the field for which I am studying for. The Career Services Representative's duties are only limited to impart seminaries which its content can be found Online to be learned and copying and pasting jobs posted on different jobs' web sites to be sent to our personal e-mails.

Ethnical diversity is well represented in this school as well as diversity in political and religious tendencies. Female students surpass in numbers males students.

The computer/library is great. They are open late. Their Leadership Distinction Program is awesome, and it is free. The Seminars for the LDP are very informative. If you get good grades you are guaranteed the academic scholarships every semester.

The classes are short, but you definitely learn. It can be overwhelming at times, but that means you are learning. Overall, I enjoy my classes.

The online accounting professor is excellent. She replies promptly and is passionate about her job. Registration is easy, but courses are limited. One online class may not be available again for almost a year.

Professors are knowledgeable, but limited. One particular professor in the Accounting department is very knowledgeable, but his arrogance is intolerable.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel that it worth the rate, because it is a hands on experience. You get to be exposed to complete what is required. Lastly, there will be no extra time added. Whatever time projected for graduation will stay the same. No extra classes will be added.

The school was never big on social things, which isn't bad to me, because I've never cared for that.

The computer lab is pretty small, but overall I've never had problems.

There is a small library open late on campus, computers, and some small study areas.

I have loved my personal academic experience at Keiser so far. Professors are helpful and are concerned about your grade. They make it possible for everyone to understand the class material and prepare us for our future careers.

My personal experience at Keiser University has been outstanding. I haven't dealt with any unpleasant situations during my time there. I've enjoyed being a part of each class I have completed so far, and I can't wait until I officially graduate from Keiser University.

I feel that Keiser University-Miami has a lot of diversity when it comes to students. The staff has a very nice attitude when treating others, and they make the school environment very pleasant. I love the fact that it's not over populated. Class rooms are small when it comes to people in each class, and I love that about Keiser because it's more of a one-on-one learning experience. Compared to others school I have attended before, I feel like the professors know you on a personal level and go the extra mile to teach their students and make them succeed.

The main reason why i chose this school was for the fact that is was fast track, since i enrolled i had issue after issue, first the financial aide was not much help, second the core classes were not flexible, externship was not flexible making it difficult to even hold a job also I feel as though I should go back and retake the whole program because I do not feel prepared with the knowledge I need to make it in the "real world"
Sorry, there are no reviews.
