Tuition & Financial Aid:
The quarter I started my college experience at Kendall College, the administration gave me a 50% deduction of tuition. I was very happy that my tuition rate was cut in half and I didnt need to take out loans right away. When I applied for financial aid I was declined. I was disappointed about npt receiving financial aid, but had to except it especially since I was receiving a lowered tuition rate. However, there were some hidden fees with my tuition. Even if I didn't use these certain items, I would still be charged for it. With Capstone, there is an extra $75 dollars a term. I wasn't aware that I was going to have to pay extra money for my capstone senior project.

The classes that I have recently and currently are taking can be flexible and/or frustating. In the past, classes fill up very quickly even though I register for my classes asap. I commute to my school and when my classes are spread out too much, this causes frustration and stress. I try to chose classes that are continuously one right after another so I don't have to commute every day of the week. With regarding to transferring credits, College of Lake County are sister schools with Kendall College. Therefore, the classes that I took at CLC all transfered to Kendall.

I had apprehension when it came to taking online classes at first. Not having a teacher to ask questions to right away and having to make sure I kept up with my work on my own. But once i got into it I was able to keep myself accountable and succeed without having to commute everyday to and from school.

There are career fairs constantly being hosted at different locations including on campus. This makes job searching accessible for students who are looking for part-time as well as full-time post-grad work. Career counselors are ready for walk-in appointments to build a career plan and assist students in setting goals for themselves.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial Aid office is a little disorganized compared to last year. Things are being set in place and awards are being given out last-minute. Last year, I received all information four months before classes began and was well-prepared.
While I do not doubt that things will be handled quickly and efficiently due to the time crunch, I hope that this does not continue as a standard.

I haven't attended yet, but Macs are required, so I'm guessing the network will be good.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The process was smooth and painless, financial aid team walked me through everything I need to know. Through email and phone contact if need be. The student portal show all my financial aid information and loans.

Kendall has a lot of options at hand for a student. The student center and library are large and spacious, there are many campus activities, and the general campus is mainly one building. Each level is decorated with students art, so it the hall change from month to month.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Kendall college is very expensive, but then it is an art school and well known. based on that trend alone with school. Kendall would be costly. I found though, that since it is part of Farris, which is a public, it has public school tuition which is a plus and makes it easier to get tuition and financial aid.

I have not yet attended a class at Kendall, but i choose the school because It is well known and i could ask people about it. Everyone has only good things to say about it, and have found that if anything is needed there are places to buy the supplies and people to ask if your lost.

Kendall College has excellent recourses. Every class has all of the tools to equipment you need other than a mac laptop. Housing is right down the road, and if you decide not to live in the apartments they provide they offer alternative options. Since Kendall is surrounded by other colleges, the people you meet are unlimited.

When i looked at Kendall College, i had to look at the academics themselves. I have no idea what to expect, as i do not have a job, and will not be working at the same time as i am studying. From what i have talked over from other students, Kendall has flexible schedules, and because there is so much studio time, you can plan that around your everyday.

I have not yet attended classes at Kendal College. I am looking forward to them. I am in the Graphic design program, and i know when what to expect. Based on information i have gathered from other students and talking with teachers that passed me by on the school tour, classes are full, but well managed, and teachers focus on helping students as much as possible. I give them a B+ to give everyone room for improvement because nobody is perfect, and everyone is entitled to have a rough day now and then.

As i have not yet started at Kendall college, I know very little about it. But from what I saw when i visited was amazing. All the classrooms where full, people where interacting with each other. I asked around, and students say that the work load is tough, but you learn a lot from what you do in classes. I give the school a b+, because i have not yet experienced the school myself, beyond that of help from the main office and a few counselors. From what i have seen, this school is amazing, and has all the resources a student would need to succeed. All a student would need to bring is a mac laptop and themselves.

personally I do not like online classes. But overall I think they are ok.

They are great and everything needed is available for all students.

The school is great but there is little flexibility on schedules and for culinary students is almost like a military school. But love all the volunteer experiences there exist.

The student center is boring and needs some upgrades, people only seem to come here to sleep. The gym is nice though. The coffee bar service can be a little slow. I wish the library had other books besides cookbooks.

There is only one computer lab, but it fits with the size of the school. There are numerous printers and copy machines throughout the school. The best part is that you have $25 already loaded onto your card each quarter. I have never run out of money on my card.

It is very diverse. There are many foreign students that make it very culturally diverse. However, many of these students come from rich families and can be alittle snotty. There are some really friendly ones though. The domestic students come from middle class families for the most part.

There are alot of green initiatives. Culinary students cook the cafeteria food, so there is always a good mix and variety of food.

Kendall Academic success Center is great for student to who are having trouble for in classes to me it where students can go to succeed in their class. Last month the student center had an international food fest where we got to taste different food from all nations and I must say the food was great. plus I also learn a lot about other countries, then we had event where students and staff should ride their bikes to school instead of cars to save the earth from pollutions a lot of students and staff started to ride their bikes to school.

I have also wanted to attend Kendall College every since I was in high school. So when I started to attend Kendall I was just amaze at how the teachers were so into teaching their students. I need tutoring for my INT 110 class and the tutor there was just great she took her time with me and gave me all her attention. Kendall is all about keeping up with today technology their computer are very must up to date with the current technology. plus I their library is very updated on the books for Business, Hospitality, Early Childhood Development students and one thing I love about the school is at the end of your senior year you have to do Capstone where you student of all programs must put a hotel project together and present it to the deans of each programs.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
