The classes that I have recently and currently are taking can be flexible and/or frustating. In the past, classes fill up very quickly even though I register for my classes asap. I commute to my school and when my classes are spread out too much, this causes frustration and stress. I try to chose classes that are continuously one right after another so I don't have to commute every day of the week. With regarding to transferring credits, College of Lake County are sister schools with Kendall College. Therefore, the classes that I took at CLC all transfered to Kendall.

When i looked at Kendall College, i had to look at the academics themselves. I have no idea what to expect, as i do not have a job, and will not be working at the same time as i am studying. From what i have talked over from other students, Kendall has flexible schedules, and because there is so much studio time, you can plan that around your everyday.

I chose Kendall College because it was the number one Culinary Arts school in Chicago. Before Kendall I attended a community college where I had a flexible school schedule. I was able to pick my own school schedule that didn't conflict with my own personal schedule. However at Kendall I was handed a schedule already made. Which I felt was very inconvenient since I had to change my personal schedule around my school schedule. Also most of my credits didn't transfer to Kendall from my previous school.

The academic flexibility at Kendall College is great. Most student can easily combine their studies and work, which is a good opportunity for student who pays for school. I am still in progress of finding out how many credits are going to be transferred.
