Kennesaw State is a secure and safe campus. It is very scenic and quiet. The 24hr on-campus police department is a measure of how valued security is on campus, though not much happens that requires any of them to be dispatched. Even when parties are "busted", residents are compliant with the law enforcement. Usually, a respectful complaint from a neighbor is enough to calm things down at even the raging dorm parties. Just a precaution, I would recommend looking out for theft, as you would any environment, but it truly is not a big deal at KSU. Security is the big deal and that wards away most everything.
