Very diverse student body. Lots of people who juggle many different things but also high school graduates.

It's not a campus that students live on but it should still offer late hours for cafeteria for students who have late classes. I would also like to see more activities, and have a better athletic center.

It's a great school with a small campus. The teacher really interact and care about the students. It needs more student organizations like the main campus and should offer the same degree programs.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition rate is lower than the national average. Kent Trumbull's tuition rate is lower than the main Kent campus's tuition rate. It's always a good choice to get your financial aid for a semester completed before school actually starts. The financial aid office at Kent Trumbull is very professional; they have the answers to all of your questions. They are dedicated with what they do and they are easy to talk to.

the resources on campus are available for us to use daily. the library staff are very helpful. the student center seems to go out of their way to help people. Its always nice when they have events that give away free lunch do to the fact college students are on a budget.

The career center is helpful in guiding your way through the right career that suites you.

The computer labs and printing reliability are awesome!!! the staff was so helpful in helping me to get projects accomplished on time. The wireless speed could be a little faster but it worked.

Nursing classes are exactly what should be expected!!!! they focus on you knowing what you need to be the best nurse possible. After all when you leave there you are a reflection of that school.

The campus is very small so therefore the selection is limited.
College Student 2013-07-08T14:44:02Z
Because its a small campus the selection of classes is not as large as their main campus, although for a small campus they offer a large variety for you to choose from. they also try to accommodate many career choices. the professors ive had have been very helpful in my life to help further my education. The campus offers areas for an individual to have study groups and theres always someone at tutorial offering to help.

Most of the classes were flexible around my schedule, however i had to wait a semester to take some due to the time slots of each class.
College Sophomore 2013-02-18T18:31:55Z
I love the small campus atmosphere, but wish they had more classes available for different time slots. Most professors will allow you to be added to their classroom's with an override if they see your situation is deemable. Cooperation is pretty good. Some advisors are sticklers where others will help you bend. Not everyone is a traditional student and needs to work around other schedules like work and family. This campus does the best it can to help students with that. Sometimes its best isn't always enough. They do try though.
College Sophomore 2013-02-18T18:25:34Z
Campus resources are not plentiful or readily available at all times, but what they have are pretty exceptional. The food in the cafeteria is made to order and is very delicious, but the pool table (and lack of cue sticks) on the other side is pathetic. Tutoring and the Learning Center is absolutely the best! I wish they were open later hours though. The Library should be open later than 5:30pm too. Classes go on well after that, and it should be available for at least when classes are running.

I've never had any problems at all with the network
College Senior 2012-06-04T18:12:57Z
Campus Life – the school is very cheap, considering the learning opportunities it provides. most of the teachers are very nice and easy to talk to. they grade fairly, and give no special treatment. overall, it is a very nice college and it is very clean. i have few friends there, but most of the people are nice. they hold the door for you, say hi, etc.
i chose the school because it is the cheapest one i could fine and i've heard good things about it. the scheduling can sometimes be a problem, especially when they dont have any classes scheduled for the major youre in, which has been done to me.

The online courses are great because it gives me the flexibility to complete class work at my convenience versus traditional set class times. But of course there are tests every week on a set day which sometimes is overwhelming but worth the small frustration. It's certainly a different dynamic with the professor, mine have emailed me to let me know they are available for any questions however it's different not having that face to face during class time.

The only frustrations I have encountered are advising hours are limited and tend to interfere with my scheduled classes. I knew going in to my degree that I would have to eventually transfer and it's more disappointment than frustration with availability of classes at this campus.

I have really enjoyed my first year at Kent State, the professors go out of their way to help in any way they can, the campus is small so there's not a hassle walking from building to building, the library is attached to the main building which is very helpful. There is a learning center to assist with classes courses that perhaps you are having trouble with. And I have found everyone else ie other classmates to be very helpful and willing to help or start study groups!
College Student 2011-07-28T18:40:02Z
The Network – The wireless network is not throughout the campus. You kinda have to hunt for it outside the student commune building.
College Student 2011-07-28T18:39:06Z
All Those Professors – The professors are pretty laid back and are very forgiving. They make class fun and engaging. Honors programs are available and well worth the extra work! Everyone rocks at Kent!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Kent at a Glance – Financial aid is a little tight at Kent, only so many scholarships are available, but there are still many chances to get money. The key is to apply early.
College Student 2011-07-28T18:32:42Z
Post Grad – You can transfer between any of the Kent campuses to continue education or Kent will help you find a job
College Student 2011-07-28T18:31:50Z
Kent has a very diverse student body. Students range in age from just out of high school, to rather older students. There is diverse ethnicity, and everyone is at ease with one another.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
