If you want to, you can go through your entire Kent State career without seeing anything worse than a cigarette. The beauty of the drug scene is that it’s underground and not something you see every day. Those who use drugs know better than to flaunt them. This doesn’t mean that you won’t be offered them at least once at a party, or in a group of new friends. If you say you’re not interested, that will most likely be the end of it.

The state-of-the-art smoke detector and alarm systems in the dorms make it nearly impossible to smoke inside most buildings, so the majority of the drug-related activities are done outdoors or in off-campus residences. Most of the drugs students use are soft drugs, though there are always rumors of cocaine and crystal meth going around campus. But, you’d have to look very hard to find drugs like those at Kent State. It’s a party atmosphere, and everyone is out to have a little fun, but no one wants to cross the line.

Weed is incredibly easy to come... Weed is incredibly easy to come by. There's always a few dealers in the dorms, but beware of those trying to rip you off. You have to do some more searching around for the harder stuff like acid, coke, X, and 'shrooms, but it's not impossible.
