Facts

Advice on Finding a Job/Internship For many majors, an internship is one of the requirements for graduation, so you probably won’t have a hard time finding one, since many departments have established good relationships with many local employers. The Career Services Center is a good place to start when looking for internships, but don’t doubt the connections of your professors. Start trying to get internships and job-related experience as soon as you can. You may not be starting at the top as a freshman or sophomore, but all the experience you have can land you a prime internship or job in the long run. That entry-level internship you took the summer of your sophomore year may be what gives you the edge over someone who is looking for his or her first job.
