The last few weeks of September are some of the most beautiful days to live in Northeast Ohio. The trees are just beginning to change from forest green to a rainbow of reds and yellows, a nice cool breeze drifts by in the evening, and a chorus of crickets lulls you to sleep.
Other than that, the weather in Kent is more like something you have to put up with rather than something to be cherished. It’s in the snowbelt, so be prepared to stumble on a snow mound or ice clod at least once during the school year. And when it’s hot, it’s hot. Fortunately, the hottest months of the year are in the summer when most students are back at home. Bring everything: T-shirts, sweatshirts, down jackets, fans, blankets—you’ll be using all of them at some point or another, maybe all of them in the same day. If there’s one thing that’s more fickle than the moods of the black squirrels, it’s the weather.

Weather
It seems to always be raining, windy, or cloudy here. Very depressing but on nice days it's alright.

Not Too Bad
At Kent State Tusc. Living in Ohio, you will always have bad weather but because the campus is small and buildings are close together, the only problem is getting there!
College Prowler guides are in the hands of students throughout the entire process. Because you can't make student-written guides without the students, we have students at each campus who write, edit, and survey their peers for every guide that we publish. Thanks to our most recent student author at KSU
