I didn't get any financial aid, but I didn't need any. I suppose a scholarship would have been nice, but it wasn't in the cards for me. At 200k, the Kenyon experience is worth it.

Financial Aid

Because Kenyon is very selective, only the cream of the crop tend to get scholarships.

Financial aid for me went somewhat smoothly and the aid helped, but I didn't recieve as much as I needed. I suggest talking with the financial aid office in person about all of the necessary forms and possible outside scholarships. Also keep in mind that the aid will fluctuate year to year.

Advice on Financial Aid

Financial aid at Kenyon relies heavily on the FAFSA, and the financial aid staff members are sticklers for getting the paperwork in on time. While the office is happy to work with you and your parents, it is important to remember that you may have to take out private loans to subsidize your education at Kenyon. Jobs on campus are also available for those willing to look, but they fill up fast.
