Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have managed to maintain a 4.0 since I started last September 2011. I'm the oldest in my class and one of the oldest in the school. I study hard, work hard. I need to be able to financially support myself & my daughter & help her through college. My husband is no longer able to get work. I have always want -ed to work in the medical field. Financial aid paperwork was fine, have never been able to receive any scholarships though. I have received a lot of hands on training which I'm sure will be very useful in the future. I can only work part-time & still have my externship to do for 3 1/2 months. I think they should see if there are scholarships available for individuals who are a little older than the average student.

As far as I know Keystone Technical Institute has no online classes. I attend 2 to 4 days a week in the evening. It's educational and a lot of hands on work especially pertaining to the field in the real world.

I currently do not take any online courses, I did not need to take any online courses to graduate. I much rather take a traditional class because you have the interaction with the instructor and other classmates. The instructor could explain it better in person rather than on a computer.

Happy With My Decision – I love my school and the program that I am in. What I love the most is the hands on opportunities that we do in clinical labs. Working with microscopes, needles, blood, and a lot of other things gives me the idea of what it will feel like the medical field! I love the instructors dedication. They make sure we learn what we need to know and help us in anyway possible to make sure we succeed! They have faith in the students here.

Teachers Involved – I love the instructors here at my school. They are willing to help us understand something better or study or even talk to them about something personal. The curriculum is accurate except one problem. The new students might start with A & P I before even taking A & P 2. I would like them to fix that to where the academics are put in order. We have someone who does our class registeration for us. We get our new schedules approximately two weeks prior of new classes start date.

Classes Are Enjoyable. I am a Medical Assistant major. The medical field is all new to me. Every class I have taken so far, will benefit me in my field. I love the clinical labs because it's hands on. We actually get to do what we will do in our field! Before we go out on internship, our school helps us find a place that's suitable for us. For an example, if it's close to home or farther away or whether we want to work in a doctors office or hospital.

Technology Review – The school always has computer network running. Most of the classes uses computers to do their assignments. The professors are all about using the computers to turn in most assignments.

School Review – The professors are very interactive with their students. They help you to better understand the cirriculum if you arent really getting it. They give you a couple of days to get all of your work done. They will also go over the work with you so that you understand it. The school is all about the major you are interested in and they make sure that you are learning it.

Education Review – The education I am receiving is well worth the money I am paying. They have all the paper work ready for you to fill out when you arrive. They also help you in receiving some scholarships. The only thing I wish the school would do differently is explain things alil better to you.

Carpool Program and Individual Recognition – My school offers car pooling if interested for students who have no car or for students who have a car but need help paying for gas. This is very helpful! Also they recognize students individually on a daily basis. There is a yearly picnic with food and activities. They have a monthly ceremony for birthdays with cake made beautifully by the culinary students and have award ceremonies for those with honors and good attendance. They also have a student of the month recognition certificate.
