Wi-fi is not available in the student housing areas, must connect to a cable device to obtain internet. It's slow a lot of the time.

Student center-- Is there one? Because I have yet to identify a place that I would consider a student center. It's a little depressing, really. Good thing I'm not here to be social.

Honestly, I am not all that involved with the student body so makes it difficult to comment.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I don't even know if there is a financial aid office. I understood that as an international student I would be considered automatically for certain bursaries upon acceptance to the program. As my acceptance came rather late, I understood that the awards had already been assigned and simply accepted that I didn't receive any funding. However, after arrival and while trying to locate my bearings, I received a few (mass) emails stating that some busaries were available. I simply didn't know where to go or how to apply and it was a bit frustrating because it really is quite expensive to attend school and afford living expenses here.

Again, another unfair survey option as I have not taken advantage of an opportunity to use these services yet, therefore it would be inappropriate for me to comment.

I haven't taken online courses at this university. I think it is unfair that the survey asks this question without providing an N/A option.

So far the professors and administrators seem like lovely, intellegent people. However, I am nearly through my first term and I still don't understand what the whole curriculum is; I have been playing it by ear. There really is no registration process, classes are chosen and assigned to you. The workload is manageable; no complaints there.

Oh, where do I begin? There is a university fitness center (or at least that's what I have heard) BUT students have to pay fees to have access. Doesn't make much sense to me. The LRC (or library) has several computers available for student use, however they are nearly always occupied or not working. There is a nice cafeteria area available to students, but it closes quite early and as I am compelled to take courses in the late afternoon or night, it would be nice if there were somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat before or after class.

The lectures are quite good, however I find that everything else about the experience has been somewhat inaccessable.

The student body at Kingston is oddly, very helpful. It's refreshing. People in England are very polite, contrary to some beliefs.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The University is very kind for helping international students. I applied for an international financial aid and was granted a fair amount.

I'm a music performance major, and I knew exactly what I was getting into. I read reviews on all of my teachers and even used a few discussion boards to check out the classes before I enrolled in the classes I needed and wanted to take. All of my classes are geared for my major, so I m ver happy.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
