Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

While many colleges offer a variety of dining halls and eateries, La Roche offers only two—Cantellops Dining Hall (aka the cafeteria) and Redhawk Café. The cafeteria only operates in short increments of time per meal throughout the day, making it difficult for students with many classes to get anything to eat. Most students dislike the cafeteria, not only because of its odd hours but because the majority of people who work there are often unfriendly and short with students. There are also very strict rules on taking food out of the dining hall. If students want to take something with them, they must pay 25 cents for a container, get their food, and leave promptly afterwards. Students who can’t make it to the cafeteria go to Redhawk Café, which is open from early morning until early evening. Plus, the food there is decent.

In general, the food is not well received. Many resident students go grocery shopping every week and eat the bulk of their meals in their dorm rooms. Most commuter students don’t even bother paying for a meal plan and either just eat at home or pay to eat at off-campus restaurants. The consensus? LRC’s food is not worth the more than $1,000 students pay per semester.

One Place

There is one dining hall but there are varities of what you would like to eat. Meal wise, it depends on the day, it is either good or not. When it is not good, there is a lack of variety or quality. There is a "cafe" if you don't want to eat in the cafeteria.

OMG MOST TERRIBLE FOOD EVER!

La Roche College cafeteria sucks!!! It seriously is bad enough that you can't even tell what a food is that it serves... Awful... At any other school, you gain the Freshman 15, but at La Roche, you will lose 15 pounds instead.

Food and Dining

Im not a huge fan of all the meals on campus. I think they need a little more variety on it. The redhawk only gives you a few other options as well. I think it could be a alot better.
