The career center is very helpful, however the number of careers with which they can help you is limited. They will help a fire science or automotive major find a job, for example, but they will not be as successful in helping a biology student find a relevant career. I am impressed that they help you with job applications, cover letters, and preparing for an interview.

Current lists of jobs are emailed to our student accounts weekly, and posted in the center hallway. Alumni can frequently be seen visiting faculty as everyone at this school is bonded. The career center has hours that coincide with student free time for effectiveness. It is very well put together.

Good If You Work for It. The school posts jobs each month, online, via emails, and in paper at the school each month. All a student needs to do is to approach their advisor and request help in looking through the list and looking into ones they would be suited for. The school keeps the selection sorted by careers, nursing, fire science, education, and such.
