The parking is great because it is close to the building where I attend classes.

The weather does not affect the campus experience atall because the building where the classes are held is well structured, weatherizes, and up kept.

Scholarship opportunities are very good. The school has an excellent scholarship program and the financial aid office makes sure we know about relevant outside opportunities.

I just made a switch to Middle Education so I don't have alot to offer with this question right now. However, I have been here 3 years now and every class I have taken has been challenging (in a good way) and beneficial.

I have loved the classes and professors at LBC. I have switched my major a couple of times, but every course has been beneficial. The Bible courses are fantastic!

I don't have a car on campus, but there always seems to be enough parking, even if you sometimes have to park a (fairly short) distance away from your dorm. Permits are required, but they are free. It can get crazy when events are held on campus.

There is no shortage of things to do in and around Lancaster, as long as you have a car or can get a ride.

I absolutely love everything about my major. The professors are great.

There is no fee for parking here at Lancaster Bible College, but I do admit that sometimes it is hard to find parking.

I attend Lancaster Bible College and am a sophomore in the Music Pedagogy department. The music department at the school is incredible. They have grown and developed so much in the last five years. We are an accredited music department and have received many opportunities to perform in many different venues. We have learned various genres and key techniques in performing and teaching. The professors are very skilled in their professions and have developed relationships with the students to allow their wisdom of their field to be passed on to their pupils.

Lancaster County is a very exciting place to live. There is a wonderful blend of city life and rural life. The college is ten minutes from Lancaster City- with museums, theaters, coffee shops and unique eateries; and it is also just a ten to fifteen minute ride to beautiful farmland and Amish country. There is a lot of history to enjoy here as well.

There is a good variety within a short driving distance. I feel there is an option for everyone.

There are many different places to go for dining. The only problem is a lot of them are either expensive and/or fast food.

The campus has just bought some new computers, so they have up to date software and up to date processors.

Because of how well I see the facilities kept I feel that the school does it's very best to keep the facilities presentable.

everything is very well kept. Things are very organized and orderly.

People are always going to sporting events and supporting the atheletes no matter what the sport is. The facilities are fairly well taken care of.

It was pretty easy to do the forms for financial aid but it was confusing and my family didn't get help until we went to the college

Lancaster Bible College just built a new library and it contains computer labs with brand new computers. The wireless network is accessible everywhere and even though it isn't always the best quality, it is usually working; with the exception of when they are working on it or if a storm disrupts it.

I am very happy with the program at LBC. Working with youth is what I feel like is my calling, it is what I'm supposed to do. I would not want to change a thing. My career goal is to go into full-time youth ministry, reaching out to the American youth and showing them how they can live meaningful, purpose-filled lives. LBC is not only preparing and helping me achieve this but it is also giving me opportunities to do this once my education is complete.

My program does not have an application process. But as you go through the program, you will begin to see whether or not you are suited for the program or not. There is no criteria for the Student Ministry program because of the fact that if you are not "cut out for it" you will most likely move on.

I intern as a youth pastor at a church located in York, PA, but all the internships that are available aren't the same. Some internships consist of after-school programs and others, like mine, work in churches with youth group and Sunday school, and not all internships are paid. Time commitment and responsibility are also differing according to the internships. Personally, my internship is where I learn the most. It is hands-on experience that you cannot get in the classroom; refining your teaching skills by teaching the youth, learning how to counsel by actually doing it, etc., the list goes on.

I am studying Student Ministry which means I am learning not only how to work with youth; but also, I am learning how to counsel and help them through the trials that they are going through. Student Ministry teaches me how to relate to and build meaningful relationships with children and teens. But more importantly, Student Ministry shows me how I can help youth find their meaning and purpose in life.
