Parking can be quite annoying, but I think you'll find this pretty much anywhere you go. If you don't have a parking permit, which costs around $60 for a year, then you will most likely get a ticket. However, ever so often they have a blood drive that will give you the chance to get rid of the ticket by donating blood.

A permit costs sixty dollars a year, which seems a little high. There are zones designated for on-campus students and commuters and tickets are implemented for those who park in the wrong zone. A car is needed to get into town and do shopping because Lander is not within reasonable walking distance. The spaces in the lots are too closely put together and cause accidents all the time.

Parking is great students just normally fight for the front closest parking spots.

The parking is awesome everywhere you turn there is another parking lot. Beside Centennial Hall on both sides there are parking lots. Up at the main entrance there is parking. Pretty sure you get there at least fifteen minutes before your class started and you would automatically get a spot.

There are usually plenty of spaces on campus for you to park, if you know which parking lots to go to. The Lide commuter parking Lot usually fills up first since it's the easiest to get to, but if you live in a dorm, you can easily walk to all of your classes, so parking isn't a huge issue.
